Prvi puta WABA ligu igraju Realway iz Sarajeva (BiH), Albatros iz Splita, Rovinj (Hrvatska), San Martino iz San Martina di Luparija (Italija) i Borča Partizan 1953 iz Borče (Srbija).

Ostali prijavljeni klubovi su Feniks, Konjic, Play Off (BiH), Budućnost Bemax, Sea Stars (Crna Gora), Arx, Trešnjevka 2009 (Hrvatska), Futurosa Forna (Italija), Cinkarna Celje, Janina, Ježica i Maribor (Slovenija).

WABA U15 League: 17 Clubs From Six Countries Set for the 2026/27 Season

The WABA has finalized its lineup for the upcoming 2026/27 WABA U15 season, featuring 17 clubs from 6 different countries. While this is a slight decrease from last year’s record-setting 20-team field, it officially ties the 2020/21 season – which was prematurely cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic – as the second most massive season in the history of the youth regional league.

The opening phase will divide the field into single-round groups, running through until the middle of January 2027.

Scheduled for the first half of February 2027, the competition will split into specialized placement tiers:

The Superleague: Showcasing the top 4 teams from both primary groups.

Classification Brackets: Consisting of secondary leagues for teams placing 5th to 7th (fighting for 9th to 14th place) and 8th to 10th (fighting for 15th to 17th place) in the group stages.

The extensive youth campaign will culminate in a high-stakes Final-Four tournament to crown the regional champion.

The biggest news of the roster finalization is that the reigning, defending champions Partizan 1953 (Serbia) have chosen not to register for the 2026/27 campaign.

However, the competition welcomes a fierce injection of new talent with five debutant clubs making their official WABA appearance for the first time:

Realway (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Albatros (Split, Croatia)

Rovinj (Rovinj, Croatia)

San Martino (San Martino di Lupari, Italy)

Borca Partizan 1953 (Borca, Serbia)

The remainder of the competitive 17-team grid features highly experienced returning clubs from across the region:

Bosnia and Herzegovina: Feniks, Konjic, and Play Off.

Croatia: Arx and Tresnjevka 2009.

Italy: Futurosa Forna.

Montenegro: Budućnost Bemax and Sea Stars.

Slovenia: Cinkarna Celje, Janina, Jezica, and Maribor.
