Reigning champion Buducnost Bemax finally grabbed their first road win of the season and Bosnian national team member Nikolina Babic (177 cm, 1995) was instrumental as the team picked up an 86-82 overtime win over Cinkarna Celje.
Babic finished with 25 points on 10-of-11 two-point shooting, making one of four three-point attempt and hitting her both free throws, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. It was enough for Babic to set a performance index rating 30, which was the highest in the 2018-19 WABA League Round 9.
Babic earns the MVP honor of the Round for the first time in her career.
