Slavno ime u Budućnosti Bemaxu

Budućnost Bemax je ostala bez hrvatske reprezentativke Patricie Bura (188 cm, 1996), koja mora na operaciju koljena, i roster je popunila sa Alyssom Ewing James (185 cm, 1995). Amerikanka je nečaka člana košarkaške Kuće slavnih Patricka Ewinga i to će biti njezina prva profesionalna sezona.

James je diplomirana na univerzi Binghamton, za koju je u prošloj sezoni na 32 utakmice NCAA lige imala prosjeke od 10.4 poena, 9.8 skokova, 1.1 asistencija, 2.2 osvojenih lopti i 3.4 blokada.

Iako je za Binghamton igrala samo tri sezone, nakon što je studentsku karijeru počela na univerzi Caldwell, je tri puta bila izabrana u obrambenu petorku Istočne Amerike (2016-18) te isto tako tri puta u najbolji sastav konferencije. Sa 270 blokada je vodeća u povjesti Binghamtona i Istočne konferencije. Karijeru u Binghamtonu je ujedno završila kao 13.strijelac u povijesti univerze (1097 poena) i peti skakač (757).

Alyssa Ewing to replace injured Patricia Bura

Buducnost Bemax have moved to fill the void left by the season-ending knee injury to Croatian national team member Patricia Bura (188 cm, 1996) by signing the American Alyssa Ewing James (185 cm, 1995). She is the niece Basketball Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing and it will be her first season in pro basketball.

James just graduated from Binghamton, where she averaged 10.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 2.2 steals and 3.4 blokcs in 32 NCAA games last season.

Although she played only three seasons at Binghamton after transferring from Caldwell University, James finished her career as a three-time America East Defensive Player of the Year (2016-18) as well as a three-time all-conference selection. In addition, her 270 career blocks rank first all time in both Binghamton program history and the America East Conference. James also finished her Binghamton career No. 13 all-time in scoring (1,097 points) and fifth in rebounding (757).
