Bivši WABA U15 MVP u Studio Zagreb

Najkorisniji igračica (MVP) regularnog dijela WABA U15 lige 2017/18 Helena Galunić (1987 cm, 2003) je prvo pojačanja Studia Zagreb.

Galunić dolazi iz Louisiana State University, gdje je u prosjeku postizala po 11.6 poena, 6.9 skokova i 2.1 asistenciju tijekom 27 minuta u 31 NCAA utakmici sezone 2024/25.

Ima bogato sveučilišno iskustvo u SAD-u, igrajući i za Manhattan College i McNeese State od 2021. do 2024. godine.

Galunić je u regularnom dijelu WABA U15 lige 2017/18 za  Orku odigrala 8 utakmica te je sa indexom valorizacije 30.5 (u prosjeku po 23.2 poena, 16.5 skokova, 4.5 asistencija i 4.5 ukradenih lopti) bila najkorsnija igračica (MVP) sezone. Bila je najbolji strijelac regularnog dijela, druga u poretku skokova, asistencija i ukradenih lopti te je na svih osam utakmica ostvarila double-double.

Galunić je također odigrala osam WABA utakmica u sezoni 2019/20 za Trešnjevku 2009. Na parketu je u prosjeku bila po 15 minute te ostvarivala po 3,5 poena, 1.7 skokova, 0,2 asistencije, 0.8 ukradenih lopti i 0,2 blokade.

 

Studio Zagreb lands 2018 WABA U15 MVP Helena Galunic

Studio Zagreb secured their first addition of the offseason by signing 2018 WABA U15 regular-season MVP Helena Galunic (187 cm, born 2003).

Galunic arrives from Louisiana State University, where she averaged 11.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists over 27 minutes in 31 NCAA games of the 2024-25 season.

She has an extensive US collegiate background, having also played for Manhattan University and McNeese State from 2021 through 2024.

During the 2017-18 WABA U15 regular season, Galunic played eight games with Orka, averaging 23.2 points, 16.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 4.5 steals for an efficiency rating of 30.5. She ranked first among all WABA U15 players in scoring during the regular season and second in rebounding, assists, and steals, recording a double-double in all eight games.

Galunic also played eight WABA games in the 2019-20 season with Tresnjevka 2009, averaging 3.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks over 15 minutes per game.
