WABA U15 League Ready for Exciting 21st Season Ahead

The WABA U15 League is officially back for a brand-new season, and the stage is set for the next generation of hoops stars to shine!

This isn’t just a tournament; it’s where legends are born. Our story began in 2006 as the BCAA League, aiming to give young talents a platform to grow.

Looking for proof? The league’s first MVP was none other than Nika Baric – who went on to conquer Europe and win the prestigious EuroLeague Women title three times!

The upcoming 2026/27 season marks the 21st edition of the regional women’s basketball championship. Fans and teams can look forward to a thrilling year of competition, following the well-established tournament system introduced in the 2024/25 season.

A total of 17 teams will battle it out in the initial stage. The teams have been divided into two groups for the regular season: Group A features nine teams and Group B consists of eight teams.

The group stage will be played in a single round-robin format. The stakes are high, as only the top four teams from each group will advance to the elite Superleague, carrying over their head-to-head results.

The battle for the championship title will culminate in the Superleague, once again hosted in Gradiska. Meanwhile, the remaining nine teams will continue their campaign in the placement group, competing for final rankings from 9th to 17th place.
