Studio Zagreb Host Desperate Rilski Sportist in Crucial Clash

Group A action in the WABA League 2026/27 is heating up; tomorrow, Studio Zagreb hosts Rilski Sportist in a highly anticipated match with massive implications for the visitors.
This upcoming encounter marks the second meeting between the two sides this season. In their previous clash in September at Arena Samokov in Bulgaria, fans were treated to an emotional roller coaster. In that game, Studio Zagreb showcased great poise on the road to edge out a hard-fought 75-70 victory.
The stakes could not be higher for the Bulgarian squad. After three rounds, Rilski Sportist remains winless (0-3). If they want to keep their dreams of qualifying for the play-in stage alive, they must win in Zagreb. Another slip-up could severely damage their postseason aspirations.
While the Bulgarian side is desperate for a turnaround, Studio Zagreb enters the matchup with plenty of confidence. After returning from their tough Bulgarian road trip, the team successfully launched their domestic campaign in the Croatian championship. This past Saturday, they delivered a dominant home performance, convincingly defeating FSV Rijeka 80-59.
