Stefan Mihaylov trener Beroea

Nakon tri i pol godine se u WABA ligu vraća bugarski trener Stefan Mihaylov koji je preuzeo Beroe.

51-godišnji Mihaylov je zamjenio Albenu Hubenovu koji je sa ekipom bila od početkom sezone te sada preuzima funkciju sportskog direktora. Beroe na polovini WABA lige ima skor 5-2.

Mihaylov je u WABA ligi vodio Montanu 2003 od njihove startne sezone 2016/17 do 2021.godine te je ostvario tri plasmana na Final-Four.

Beroe je već trenirao u sezoni 2009/10 te narednje četiri sezone Levski iz Sofije. Selektor ženske reprezentacije Bugarske je bio između 2017. i 2023.godine.

Stefan Mihaylov returns to the WABA League as coach of Beroe

After three and a half years away from the WABA league, Bulgarian head coach Stefan Mihaylov returned to guide his new team, Beroe.

The 51-year-old replaces Albena Hubenova, who guided Beroe from the start of this season. The Bulgarian champion has a 5-2 record in the WABA League this season.

Mihaylov led Montana 2003 from their inaugural season in 2016-17 to 2021. He led them to three WABA Final-Four appearances.

Mihaylov coached Beroe during the 2009-10 season and Levski Sofia for the next four seasons. He was also the head coach of the Bulgarian national team from 2017 through 2023.
