The match started competitively, but the score was tied only once, at 4-4. From there, everything went in Partizan 1953’s favor. The decisive moment came early in the game; between the 7th and 13th minute, the Serbian team unleashed a furious 22-4 scoring run, transforming a close battle into a commanding 32-11 lead. Beroe struggled to recover from this early defensive breakdown and could not threaten the hosts’ advantage for the remainder of the evening.

After trailing by as many as 26 points, Beroe cut the deficit to 56-66, but with just two minutes left, a full comeback was out of reach.

A crucial factor in the blowout was the massive difference in bench production. Partizan 1953 boasted incredible depth, with their bench players contributing 33 points, led by Jessica Timmons (15 points) and Ana Peric (11 points). In sharp contrast, Beroe’s secondary unit could not find a rhythm, leaving the starters heavily fatigued as the game progressed.

For the winning side, Jessenia Lawson anchored the team with a powerful double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Izabel Varejao added 15 points.
