Brod na Savi u WABA 1 sa Zaay Green

Vicešampion WABA 2 lige, Brod na Savi, igrat će u nadolazećoj sezoni 2026/27 u WABA ligi. Prvo pojačanje je američko krilo Zarielle Lacole “Zaay” Green (188 cm, 2000).

Green je prošlu sezonu započela u Litvi s Kibirkštis Vilniusom prije nego što je u siječnju potpisala za AEL Limassol, gdje je osvojila i naslov prvakinje i kupa Cipra te je proglašena najkorisnijom igračicom (MVP) finala. Zatim se preselila u Meksiko kako bi igrala za Adelitas de Chihuahua, gdje je u prosjeku postizala 12.7 poena, 3.8 skokova, 4.8 asistencija i 0.8 ukradenih lopti u 26 utakmica.

Završila je bogatu sveučilišnu karijeru koja je uključivala nastupe u Tennesseeju (2018-20.), Texas A&M (2020/21) i Arkansas-Pine Bluffu (2021-23.) prije nego što je završila u Alabami.

Zaay Green joins Brod na Savi

The WABA 2 League runner-up Brod na Savi will play in the WABA League for the upcoming 2026–27 season, making American forward Zarielle Lacole “Zaay” Green (188 cm, born 2000) their first roster addition.

Green started last season in Lithuania with Kibirkštis Vilnius before signing in January with AEL Limassol, where she won both the Cypriot Championship and Cup titles and was named Finals MVP. She then moved to Mexico to play for Adelitas de Chihuahua, averaging 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 0.8 steals across 26 games.

She concluded a well-traveled collegiate career that included stints at Tennessee (2018–20), Texas A&M (2020–21), and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2021–23) before finishing up at Alabama. Following her college career, she was selected by the Washington Mystics as the 32nd overall pick in the third round of the 2025 WNBA Draft.
