Bivši MVP F4 u Montani 2003

Prvo inozemno pojačanje Montane 2003 za sezonu 2020/21 je crnogrska reprezentativka Snežana Aleksić (173 cm, 1989).

Prošlu sezonu je počela u Španjoljskoj kod Gipuzkoa Universidad del Pais Vasco, da bi početkom godine prešla u Njemačku kod Gisa Lions SV Halle. Odigrala je 9 utakmica Bundeslige i imala prosjeke od 12.6 poena, 5.0 skokova, 3.1 asistencija i 1.1 ukradenih lopti.

Aleksić je s košarkom počela u rodnoj Podgorici (Budućnost) te je u bogatoj karijeri igrala i u Hrvatskoj (Šibenik, Gospić), Grčkoj (Neas Halkidonas), Rusiji (Spartak Noginsk, Dynamo Moscow, Vologda Chevakata), Turskoj (Canik Belediyesi, Orduspor), Mađarski (PEAC Pecs), Švicij (Alte Kanti Aarua), Španjolskoj (Mann Filter Zaragoza, Valencia), Argentini (Asociacion Quimsa Sporting)  i Bugarskoj (Beroe).

Aleksić je jedna najiskusnijih igračica WABA lige u kojoj je odigrala već sedam sezona. Za Budućnost od 2005. do 2009.godine, zatim jednu sezonu za Šibenik, za drugi hrvatski klub Gospić sezonu 2010/11 te za bugarski Beroe sezonu 2018/19 kada je osvojila naslov prvaka te bila najkorisnija igračica (MVP) Final-Foura.

 

Montana 2003 inks former  WABA champ Snezana Aleksic

Montana 2003 made Montenegrin National team member Snezana Aleksic (173 cm, 1989) its first import addition ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Aleksic started last season in Spain with Gipuzkoa Universidad del Pais Vasco and in January moved to Germany to play for Gisa Lions SV Halle, for whom she averaged 12.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 9 Bundesliga games.

Aleksic grew up with Buducnost Podgorica and has already played in Croatia (Sibenik, Gospic), Greece (Neas Halkidonas), Russia (Spartak Noginsk, Dynamo Moscow, Vologda Chevakata), Turkey (Canik Belediyesi, Orduspor), Hungary (PEAC Pecs), Switzerland (Alte Kanti Aarua), Spain (Mann Filter Zaragoza, Valencia), Argentina (Asociacion Quimsa Sporting) and Bulgaria (Beroe).

Aleksic is well known WABA figure who played for Buducnost from 2005 through 2009, then moving to Sibenik for one season, during the 2010-11 she played with Gospic and during the 2018-19 was a member of Beroe, with whom she won 2019 WABA Championship title and was named Final-Four MVP.
