WABA 2: Skylar Treadwell Joins RMU Banovici
RMU Banovici strengthened their roster for the upcoming season by signing American forward Skylar Treadwell (185 cm, 2002). The signing is a major boost for the Bosnian club, which is preparing to compete in the WABA 2 League for the third consecutive year.
She began last season in the Czech Republic with Basket Ostrava. Across 12 games in the Czech league, she averaged 7.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. In January 2026, Treadwell mutually parted ways with Ostrava to finish the season in the Kosovan Superliga with Penza Peja. She averaged an impressive 20.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.8 steals per game in 12 appearances.
Treadwell built a stellar reputation during her high school career at Saint James School in Maryland, where she finished as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,618 points.
She transitioned to NCAA Division I basketball, showcasing her reliability across a five-year collegiate career with stints at Seton Hall, Stetson University, and finally Bellarmine University. In her final graduate year (2024-25) at Bellarmine, she achieved a breakout season, averaging 12.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
