Visnja Stefanovic Returns to Buducnost Bemax After Three-Year Break

The WABA League is welcoming back a familiar face as Serbian forward Visnja Stefanovic (185 cm, 2001) returns to the competition. After a three-year break due to maternity leave, Stefanovic has reunited with her former club, Buducnost Bemax.

The Podgorica-based powerhouse was Stefanovic’s last destination before her break during the 2022-23 season.

During her last active season in the WABA League, Stefanovic was a vital piece of the Montenegrin side’s rotation. In the 2022-23 WABA season, she appeared in 17 games, averaging 7.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.0 steal, and 0.4 blocks per game.

Before her successful stint with Budućnost Bemax, she gained valuable early-career experience in the WABA League playing for Kraljevo during both the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons.
