Ana Vojtulek se u WABA vraća sa Brodom na Savi

Potpisom za debitanta u najvišem rangu Brod na Savi će hrvatski centar Ana Vojtulek (189 cm, 1999) nakon osam sezona ponovo igrati WABA ligu.

Vojtulek je svoju jedinu WABA sezonu sa Medveščakom odigrala u sezoni 2017/18 kada je ostvarila 11 nastupa i u prosjeku bilježila po 8.7 poena, 6.7 skokova, 1.2 asistencija, 0.9 ukradenih lopti i 0.7 blokada po utakmici.

U Brod na Savi dolazi iz isto tako hrvatskog kluba Trešnjevka 2009 za koju je na 25 utakmica državnog prvenstva bilježila po 12.4 poena, 7.9 skokova, 1.9 asistencija i 2.4 ukradenih lopti po nastupa te po 11.0 poena, 9.5 skokova, 2.0 asistencija i 2.5 ukradenih lopti na 6 utakmica Eurocupa.

Vojtulek u Hrvatskoj igrala još za Plamen Požegu (2014-2017), Medveščak (2017-2019) i Ragusu (2019/20) te u Švicarskoj (Helios VS Basket), Njemačkoj (TSV 1880 Wasserburg), Italiji (Battipaglia) i Mađarskoj (BEAC Budapest, Atomeromu).

 

Ana Vojtulek returns to WABA with Brod na Savi

Croatian center Ana Vojtulek (189 cm, 1999) is returning to the WABA League after an eight-season absence, having signed with top-tier debutants Brod na Savi.

Vojtulek last competed in the WABA League during the 2017/18 season with Medvescak. In her 11 appearances that year, she averaged 8.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game.

The 27-year-old moving to Brod na Savi from Croatian rivals Trešnjevka 2009. Last season, she posted impressive domestic league numbers over 25 games, averaging 12.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 2.4 steals. She also showcased her skills in the EuroCup, contributing 11.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.5 steals across 6 games.

Vojtulek brings extensive domestic and international experience to the roster. In Croatia, she previously also played for Plamen Pozega (2014–2017), Medvescak (2017–2019), and Ragusa (2019/20). Her career outside Croatia includes stints with Helios VS Basket in Switzerland, TSV 1880 Wasserburg in Germany, Battipaglia in Italy, as well as BEAC Budapest and Atomeromu in Hungary.
