WABA 2: Lena Trantura moves from Maribor to Ilirija

Ahead of the upcoming season, Ilirija has strengthened its roster by signing Lena Trantura (180 cm, 2007), who joins the club from regional rival Maribor.

Trantura brings a wealth of regional basketball experience to Ljubljana, having spent her formative years developing through Maribor’s youth ranks, where she represented the club in the youth WABA U15 and U17 leagues from 2019 to 2023, as well as in both previous seasons in the senior WABA 2 competition.

In her most recent WABA 2 campaign during the 2025/26 season, Trantura averaged a team-leading 10.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 2.5 steals over 10 games played.
