Uvjerljive pobjede domaćina
Obje današnje zaostale utakmica WABA lige 2020/21 su završene pobjede domaćina. U okviru 6.kola je Montana 2003 nadigrala RMU Banoviće 93-67, dok su Vojvodina 021 i Orlovi kompletirali 9.kolo. Novosađanke su odličnom drugom četvrtinom (18-3) upisali četvrtu pobjedu u sezoni te si pozitvnim skorom (4-3) otvorili mogučnost plasmana na završni turnir.

Montana 2003 used all 10 players and all of them scored in a 93-67 win over RMU Banovici 93-67 in the game of Round 6.
Vojvodina 021 outscored Orlovi 18-3 in the second quarter for a 78-65 win in the game of Round 9.
Round 6: Montana 2003-RMU Banovici 93-67: Montana took their first double-digit lead of the game at 22-12 late in the opening quarter. Banovici halves the deficit, but the home team opened the second quarter with a 19-4 run to go up 41-21 and their advantage never dropped below dozen points.
Montana outrebounded Banovici 50-25, allowing just three offensive boards out of 28 available missed shots. Snezana Aleksic scored 21 points hitting 5 of 7 from 3-point territory, Viktorya Stoycheva and Hristina Ivanova both posted 15 points, Isabela Lyra came off the bench for 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in just 18 minutes and Aleksandra Petrova added 10 points.
Banovici’s five starters combined for all of the team’s 67 points. Jovana Markovic had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Carna Prokic collected 16 points and 10 rebounds and Antoinette Thompson finished with 17 points.
Round 9: Vojvodina 021-Orlovi 78-65: Orlovi opened the game with six straight points. Vojvodina 021 responded with an 8-0 run, and was ahead until Dragana Domuzin sank a 3-pointer to give the Bosnian team its final lead at 23-22 at the end of the first quarter. Vojvodina 021 then scored 11 consecutive points to outscore Orlovi 18-3 in the second quarter. Orlovi trailed 26-43 at the half and would never come closer than 13 points.
Jovana Adamovic finished with 19 points and 4 blocks, Milina Miseljic scored 15 points and was a rebound shy of the double-double, Katarina Jakovljevic netted 12 points and Jovana Jovovic 10.
Orlovi shot better from 3-point land (38-percent, 8-of-21) than from 2-point range (33-percent, 13-of-39) and outrebounded Vojvodina 021 39-32 including 14 offensive boards to Vojvodina’s just 4, but they had 25 turnovers. Tamara Rajic scored 33 points including five 3-pointers, Dragana Domuzin added 12 points and Andjela Gligic 11.
