UBI Graz doveo Dmitru Gkiziani

Potpisom za UBI Graz je Dimitra Gkiziani (190, 2000) prva Grkinja nakon Pelagie Papamichail (Gospić 2009/10) koja će igrati WABA ligu.

Gkiziani dolazi iz australskog kluba Sunbury Jets za koji je na 18 utakmica NBL One South lige u prosjeku ostvarivala po 12.9 poena, 9.4 skokova, 1.2 ukradenih lopti i 1.3 blokada.

Prvi deo prošle sezone 2022/23 je igrala u Grčkoja za PAS Giannenu, prije toga za Eunikos te u SAD za Roberts Wesleyan College (NCAA II).

UBI Graz adds Dmitra Gkiziani

Dimitra Gkiziani (190 cm, 2000) became the first Greek player since Pelagia Papamichail (Gospic 2009-10) to play the WABA League by joining Austrian side UBI Graz for the upcoming season.

Gkiziani arrives from Sunbury Jets for whom she averaged 12.9 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.3 blocks in 18 Australian NBL One South games.

Most of last season she spent at PAS Giannena in Greek A1. But in 11 games she averaged only 1.4ppg and 1.6rpg. She helped them to make it to the Greek Cup Semifinals. Gkizani also played for Eunikos in Greek A1 where in 11 games she had only 1.5ppg and 1.5rpg. She was called to the Greek Senior National Team this year.
Gkizani graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2021.
