UBI Graz debitirao pobjedom

Prvu pobjedu u WABA ligi 2023/24 je ostvario debitant UBI Graz! U unaprijed igranoj utakmici 3.kola skupine A je Požegi bio bolji od domaćeg Plamena 71-62. Austrijanke su u posljednju dionicu ušle sa osjetnim zaostatkom (49-57), ali su u narednih pet minuta napravile parcijalnih 12-2, prešle u vodstvo (61-59) i prednosti do kraja nisu ispustile.

UBI Graz makes history with debut win

WABA newcomer UBI Graz defeated Plamen Pozega by 71-62 in the opening game of the 2023-24 season.

After trailing 49-57 going into the fourth, the Austrian team went on a 12-2 run over the next five minutes to take a 61-59 lead and never looked back.

Simone Sill had a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds, Eni Nizamic was one rebound shy of the double-double with 17 points and Janet Oriakhi added 10 points.

Plamen Pozega was led by Nevena Vuckovic with 19 points, Jelena Ivezic scored 18 points off the bench and Emilija Podrug recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
