Tea Peric signs with Sibenik, returns to the WABA after nearly a decade

Sibenik has strengthened its roster for the upcoming season with the signing of Bosnian forward Tea Peric (187 cm, 1999).

This move marks a highly anticipated return to the WABA League for Peric after nearly a decade. She previously made her mark in the regional competition during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s powerhouse Play Off.

Peric arrives at Sibenik after a successful stint in Italy, most recently suiting up for C.U.S. Cagliari. Before making her impact in Cagliari, she established herself on the Italian basketball scene with notable spells at Virtus Cagliari, Bolzano, and Livorno.

An experienced international traveler, Peric has built an impressive and diverse career spanning multiple European countries. Aside from her time in Italy and Bosnia, her basketball journey has taken her to clubs in Germany, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. She also left a significant mark in Croatia, where she won the 2024 national championship title during a stint with Ragusa.
