Studio Zagreb pod košem sa Laurom Zelnyte

U nastavku sezone će za Studio Zagreb na poziciji krilnog centra igrati iskusna Laura Zelnyte (1993 cm, 1994).

Litvanka je sezonu počela u Kibirkstis Vilnius te nastavila u Panevezysu. Ukupno je za oba kluba u čak četiri natjecanja (Euroliga, EuroCup, Baltička liga, prvenstvo Litve) odigrala 14 utakmica te imala prosjeke od 22 minuta, 7.5 poena, 4.6 skokova, 2.2 asistencije, 1.6 ukradenih lopti i 0.6 blokada.

Zelnyte je prošlu sezonu u Italiji igrala za Milano u Serie A2. Nakon 28 utakmica je bila na prosjecima od 7.3 poena, 6.4 skoka, 1.7 asistencija i 1.2 ukradene lopte. Prije toga je dvije sezone bila u Belgiji kod Namura. Igrala je još za Carugate, Crema, Campobasso, Nico Basket (Italija), Enisey (Rusija), Piestanske Cajky (Slovačka), Zaragoza (Španjolska) te u rodnoj Litvi za Aistes-LSMU Kaunas, LAMMKK Marijampole i LKC-Kaunas.

Studio Zagreb adds experienced Laura Zelnyte

Studio Zagreb has added experience to its roster by signing Lithuanian power forward Laura Zelnyte (193 cm, 1994).

She started the season with Kibirkstis Vilnius and, in November, moved to Panevezys. She combined a total of 14 games in four competitions (Euroleague, EuroCup, Baltic League, Lithuanian League), averaging 7.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.6 blocks over 22 minutes per appearance.

Zelnyte played last season at Milano in the Italian Serie A2, where she averaged 7.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.2 steals in 28 games. Prior to that, she played for Namur in the Belgian league for two seasons (2022-24). She has already played in Italy (Carugate, Crema, Campobasso, and Nico Basket), Russia (Enisey), Slovakia (Piestanske Cajky), Spain (Zaragoza), and Lithuania (Aistes-LSMU Kaunas, LAMMKK Marijampole, and LKC-Kaunas).
