Prva pobjeda RMU Banovića
Zaostala utakmica 5.kola je RMU Banovićima donijela prvu pobjedu WABA ligi 2020/21 i tako konačno nema više ekipe bez trijumfa. Prvak BiH je protiv nekompletne Vojvodine 021 uspjehom 78-66 prekinuo niz od čak devetih uzastopnih poraza koji se je odužio na skoro 11 mjeseci.
Utakmica je odlučena između 28. i 35.minute kada su RMU Banovići sa 10 uzastopnih poena započeli ključnu seriju 20-2 s kojom su minimalnu prednost podebljali na nedostižnih 72-52.
5.kolo će završiti u četvrtak utakmicom Beroe-Partizan.
U originalnom terminu krajem XI.mjeseca su već odigrane utakmice Montana 2003-Budućnost Bemax (60-59) i Cinkarna Celje-Orlovi (82-67).

RMU Banovici posts first win of the season
RMU Banovici used an impressive 20-2 run spanning the third and fourth quarters to beat shorthanded Vojvodina 021 78-66 in the postponed game of Round 5 to get their first win of the season. They also became the final team to get a win in the 2020-21 WABA League. Jovana Markovic led all scorers with 23 points, Dzenita Ikanovic posted 16 points, Carna Prokic collected 14 points and 17 assists and Ajla Ikanovic added 12 points.
Banovici opened the game with an 11-4 and were ahead 22-14 late in the second quarter. Vojvodina cut the deficit to one, 23-24, and later made a 10-2 run to go up 33-29. Banovici responded with eight consecutive points to re-take the lead at the half time break (37-33) and never looked back from there. After leading by two, Banovici scored 10 straight points to ignite a 20-2 run for a 72-52 advantage with five minutes remaining.
Vojvodina outrebounded Banovici 42-32, but they had 27 turnovers to only 14 for Banovici and their bench players combined for just four points. Milina Miseljic finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds, Sara Opacic had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Anastasija Podunavac posted 12 points.
