The coronavirus pandemic forced WABA Board to cancel the remainder of the 2019-20 season.
The Final Four was scheduled on March 21 and 22 at Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.

Buducnost Bemax was crowned champion of the 19th WABA season.
Cinkarna Celje was crowned champion of the 2019-20 WABA U17 League.
Cinkarna Celje was crowned champion of the 2019-20 WABA U15 League.

WABA Board has decided to take all the necessary safety actions regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the country.

World Health Organization has declared an outbreak a worldwide pandemic. Due to Force Majeure, WABA Board has decided to end the 2019/20 WABA season and crown current regular-season leaders, Buducnost Bemax, and Cinkarna Celje (U17 and U15, both), as the champions of the 2019-20 WABA season.

We as the league expect full understanding and support from the fans, sports community, and our partners. This decision will have an enormous long-term financial impact on both the clubs and the league. However, health and life are fundamental values and the WABA Board has made the safest decision for the players, personnel, and society.
