Play Off ponovo odustao od WABA lige

ŽKK Play Off je Bord WABA lige obavijestio, da odustaje od takmičenja u WABA ligi 2022/23.

Sukladno propozicijama WABA lige i FIBA-e se sve utakmice Play Offa registriraju službenim rezultatom 20-0 korist protivničkih ekipa. Sustav natjecanja ostaje isti.

Razlog odustajanja je procjeni Play Offa, da “je liga u zadnjih par godina izgubila na kvalitetu jer ne igraju najkvalitetnije ekipe iz regiona”  .

Play Off je od WABA lige odustao i 2018.godine uoči 2.kola.

Play Off withdraws from the 2022-23 WABA League

ZKK Play Off has informed the Board of the WABA League that is withdrawing from the 2022-23 WABA League.

It means that ZKK Play Off as per the Official Basketball Rules, the games were awarded to their respective opponents with a score of 20-0. Furthermore, the forfeiting team ZKK Play Off will receive 0 classification points in the standings. The competition system remains the same.

The reason for the withdrawal is Play Off’s assessment that “the WABA league has lost quality in recent years because the best teams from the region are not playing”.

The Play Off has already abandoned from the WABA league in 2018 before the 2nd round.
