Odličnom trećom četvrtinom i serijom 12-0 je u derbiju s dna tablice WABA lige 2020/21 je Partizan 1953 i drugi puta u sezoni pobjedio RMU Banoviće (86-75).

U prvoj utakmici 10.kola su jučer Orlovi pobjedom protiv Montane 2003 sa 69-64 borbu za plasman na Final-Four napravili još više neizvjesnom. Derbi Beroe-Cinkarna Celje je prebačen na kraj II.mjeseca, kada će Celjanke spojiti oba gostovanja u Bugarskoj, dok je utakmica Budućnost Bemax-Vojvodina 021 odgođena zbog obaveza Novosađanki u nacionalnom kupu.

Partizan 1953 pulls away in third quarter to beat RMU Banovici

After tying the game at 38 at halftime, Partizan 1953 outscored RMU Banovici 31-18 in the third quarter to seal the victory, 86-75 in the game of Round 10. Sofija Olic scored 26 points including five 3-pointers and handed out 7 assists, Branka Lukovic had 21 points and 15 rebounds and Gorana Marjanovic collected 10 points and 11 rebounds, both for her fist double-double of the season.

Banovici used a 9-1 run spanning the first and second quarters to go up 25-18 and later extended their advantage 31-22, their largest lead of the night. Partizan tied the game at 35 and never trailed in the second half. Serbian team opened the third quarter with a 14-6 run and later scored dozen consecutive points for a 72-56 lead eary in the final period. Banovici cut the deficit to five points with 1:44 remaining, but the visitors closed the game with six straight points.

Antoinette Thompson scored 25 points on shooting 11-of-16 from the field, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 6 assists in her debut for Banovici. Jovana Markovic poured in 16 points and 11 rebounds, Milica Zeljkovic scored 14 points and Ajla Ikanovic came off the bench for 11 points.
