Orlovi odustali od WABA lige

KK Orlovi je obavijestio BORD WABA lige, da zbog čestih ozljeda igračica i skračenog rosterga nije u mogućnosti nastaviti takmičenje u WABA ligi 2025/26 odnosno da istupa iz daljnjeg takmičenja.

U skladu sa službenim pravilima košarkaške igre i propozicijama WABA lige i FIBA-e se sve utakmice Orlova (odigrane i neodigrane) registriraju službenim rezultatom 20-0 korist protivničkih ekipa.

Obzirom na novo nastalu situaciju prvoplasirana i  drugoplasirana ekipa poslije završenog ligaškog dijela WABA lige 2025/26 obezbediti će direktan plasman na Final Four WABA lige 2026.

Orlovi withdraws from the 2025-26 WABA League

Orlovi informed the Board of the WABA League today that, due to the frequent illnesses of the players and a shortened roster, the team is unable to play the remaining games of the 2025-26 WABA League.

It means that Orlovi withdraws from the 2025-26 WABA League.

As per the Official Basketball Rules, the games (played and unplayed) were awarded to their respective opponents with a score of 20-0. Furthermore, the forfeiting team, Orlovi, will receive 0 classification points in the standings.

Considering the newly created situation, the first and second-placed teams after the completion of the league part of the WABA League 2025/26 will secure a direct placement in the Final Four of the WABA League 2026.
