For the third time in her WABA career, American forward Monique Reid (184 cm, 1990) earns award for the most valuable player (MVP) of the month. She averaged 26.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals for an index performance of 30.5 in two games in October 2022.

By the time October was over, Reid ranked first among all WABA players in average index rating (30.5 per game), scoring (26.0) and rebounds (14.0), fifth in assists (4.5) and seventh in 3-pointers (2.0).

Reid was named MVP of the month in October 2016 and November 2016.
