MVP februara: Niyah Becker

Cinkarna Celje je bila jedina neporažena ekipe WABA lige u februaru 2024, a kanadska krilna igračica Niyah Becker (188 cm, 2000) je prvi puta u karijeri najkorisnija igračica (MVP) meseca.

Becker je u februaru prosječno ostvarivala po 19.0 poena (za dva 88%, za tri 47%), 7.0 skokova, 2.7 asistencija, 2.3 ukradenih lopti i 3.3 blokada za prosječnu ocjenu indexa valorizacije 26,7 koji je najbolji među svm igračicama WBA lige. U svakoj od tri utakmice je bila dvoznamenkasta u poenima te je bila i MVP 6.kola Superlige.

Becker je treća igračica Cinkarne Celje sa naslovom MVP mjeseca, nakon što su bile Thayna Silva MVP oktobra te Blaža Čeh MVP decembra.

Cinkarna Celje was the lone unbeaten team in the WABA League in February and Canadian forward Niyah Becker (188 cm, 2000) won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the month honor for the first time in her career.

Becker averaged 19.0 points (2P 88%. 3P 47%), 7.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 3.3 blocks for a 26.7 average performance rating in February, which was all team highs. She scored in double figures in each of three February’s games and was also the MVP of the SuperLeague Round 6.

Becker is the third player of Cinkarna Celje to be named MVP of the month in the 2023-24 WABA League after Thayna Silva in October and Blaza Ceh in December.
