Kapinga Maweja La mama (199 cm, 1997) nastavlja sa dominacijom u WABA ligi 2021/22 osvajanjem već trećeg naslova najkorisnije igračice (MVP) meseca. Nakon što je bila MVP u oktobru i novembru, je trofej najkorisnije igračice meseca osvojila i u decembru.

La mama je druga igračica nakon sezone 2010/11 i Monique Reid (2016/17), sa tri uzastopna naslova MVP meseca i nakon Eve Lisec (2014/15) i Monique Reid (2016/17) treća sa tri naslova MVP meseca u jednoj sezoni.

Kongoanka iz Plamena Požega je u decembru u prosjeku upisivala 24.0 poena, 17.7 skokova, 4.0 assistencija, 0.3 ukradenih lopeti i 2.3 blokada po utakmici za impresivnu valorizaciju 38.0.

La mama je ujedno i MVP grupne faze WABA lige 2021-22 te je na svakoj od 10 utakmica ostvarila double-double! Na parketu u prosjeku provodila po 35 minuta i producirala po 23.1 poena, 17.9 skokova, 2.7 asistencija, 1.2 ukradenih lopti i 1.9 blokada sa valorizacijom 34.0.

MVP for December and Group Stage: Kapinga Maweja La mama

Kapinga Maweja La mama (199 cm, 1997) continued her dominance in the 2021-22 WABA League by winning the MVP of the month honor for the third time in the season. She has been chosen WABA MVP for October and November and again for December.

La Mama became the second player since the 2010-11 season, after Monique Reid in the 2016-17 season, to win three straight MVP of the month awards and just the third player to earn MVP of the month honors three times during the WABA season, joining Eva Lisec (2014-15) and Monique Reid (2016-17).

The 24-year old Congolese center averaged 24.0 points, 17.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.3 steals, and 2.3 blocks in December for an amazing index performance of 38.0.

La mama is also the MVP of the 2021-22 WABA League group stage as she posted a double-double in all 10 games! She produced 23.1 points, 17.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.9 blocks over 35 minutes per game in 10 appearances for an index performance of 34.0.
