MVP 6.kola Superlige: Niyah Becker

Niyah Becker (188 cm, 2000) je prva Kanađanka sa naslovom najkorisnije igračice (MVP) kola WABA lige. Dogodilo je u 6.kolu Superlige 2023/24 nakon kojeg nema više neporaženih ekipa, jer je Cinkarna Celje pobjedila vodeću Budućnost Bemax 69-63.

Becker je sa 21 poenom bila najbolji strijelac derbija. Za dva poena je šutirala 3-4, za tri poena 4-6 te slobodna bacanja 3-4. U statistiku je dodala 7 skokova, 4 asistencije, 2 ukradene lopte i 4 blokade za index valorizacije 32 koji je najviši u 6.kolu WABA Superlige 2023/24.

Čeh je već četvrta igračica Cinkarne Celje sa MVP naslovom kola u sezoni 2023/24. Jite Sophia Gbemuotor je bila MVP 1.kola grupne faze, Thayna Silva MVP 4.kola i 7.kola grupne gaze te 1.kola Superlige, a Blaža Čeh 8. i 10.kola grupne faze.

2023-24 WABA SuperLeague Round 6 MVP: Niyah Becker

Niyah Becker (180 cm, 2000) is the first-ever Canadian player to become the WABA MVP of the Round, and it came on the night that there are no unbeaten teams left in the 2023-24 WABA League after back-to-back champion Cinkarna Celje defeated league-leading Buducnost Bemax 69-63.

Becker scored a game-high 21 points 3-for-4 shooting from two-point range, connected on four 3-point shots out of 6 and made three of four free throws. She pulled 5 rebounds, distributed 4 assists and had 2 steals and 4 blocks for a performance index rating of 32, the highest of the 2023-24 WABA SuperLeague Round 6.

Becker is the fourth Cinkarna Celje player, after Jite Sophia Gbemuotor (Round 1), Thayna Silva (Round 4, Round 7 and SL Round 1) and Blaza Ceh (Round 8 and 10), to win the MVP title this season.
