MVP 16.kola: Thayna Silva

Odličnom napadačkom predstavom za veliku pobjedu Cinkarne Celje je Thayna Silva (180 cm, 1996) postala najkorisnija igračica (MVP) 16.kola WABA lige 2024/25.

Silva je za pobjedu aktualnog prvaka Cinkarne Celje sa 76-67 protiv vodeće Budućnosti Bemax ubacila 25 poena sa šutom za dva 3-6, za tri 5-6 i slobodnim bacanjima 4-4. Dodala je 11 skokova te po jednu asistenciju i ukradenu loptu za indeks valorizacije 33 koji je najviši u 16.kolu.

Thayna Silva je drugi puta u sezoni MVP kola; nakon naslova u 9.kolu kada je u pobjedi Cinkarne Celje u gostima kod Studia Zagreb imala index valorizacije 39.

Brazilka je drugu sezonu u WABA ligi i Cinkarni Celje te je ukupno već četvrti puta MVP kola.

2024-25 WABA League Round 16: Thayna Silva

A stunning offensive performance in a big win has allowed Brazilian forward Thayna Silva (180 cm, 1996) of Cinkarna Celje to earn WABA 2024-25 Round 16 MVP honors with a PIR of 33.

Silva led reigning champion Cinkarna Celje to a 76-67 win over league-leading Buducnost Bemax with 25 points on 3-of-6 two pointers, 5-of-6 three pointers and 4-of-4 free throws, adding 11 rebounds, one assist and steal each for a performance index rating of 33, the highest in Round 16.

It’s the second time this season that Thayna Silva has earned MVP of Round honors after Round 9 when she posted up the 39-point performance for the road victory by Cinkarna Celje against Studio Zagreb.

Since joining WABA League and Cinkarna Celje in the summer 2023, this is the fourth time she has received the MVP of the Round Award.
