Marie Malone novi centar Budućnosti

Nakon odlaska Rachel Hollivay u Južnu Koreju je Budućnost Bemax ekspresno reagirala i njezino mjesto pod košem popunila sa drugom Amerikankom Marie Malone (189 cm, 1989) koja dolazi iz turskog kluba Anadolu Universitesi Esiksehir.

Malone je u prošloj sezoni na 23 utakmica prvenstva Turske u prosjeku bilježila po 15.7 poena, 10.7 skokova, 1.3 asistencija i 1.1 osvojenih lopti. Studentsku košarku je u NCAA ligi igrala za West Wirginia (2008-09) i Hofstra (2009-2012), a profesionalnu u Danskoj za SIS Copenhagen, u Italiji za Virtus La Speziu, u Izraelu za ASA Jerusalem i Elitzur Maclaren Hapoel te u Poljskoj za MKK Siedlce i Basket Gdynia.

Budućnost Bemax tabs Marie Malone for Rachel Hollivay’s role

After losing American Rachel Hollivay due to moving to South Korea, Buducnost Bemax moved quickly to replace her spot with Marie Malone (189 cm, 1989), who arrived  from Turkey club Anadolu Universitesi Esiksehir. The deal is for the remainder of the season. Malone has posted 15.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 23 Turkish League games last season.

Malone played college basketball at West Wirginia during the 2008-09 season and at Hofstra from 2008 to 2012. During her career, she has also played for SIS Copenhagen in Denmark, Virtus La Spezia in Italy, ASA Jerusalem and Elitzur Maclaren Hapoel in Israel and MKK Siedlce and Basket Gdynia in Poland.
