Kriva Palanka prvi puta u regionu

Od početka 2001.godine je u WABA i WABA 2 ligama igralo 59 klubova iz 12 zemalja.

U predstojećoj sezoni 2025/26 će biti dve debitanta.

Kriva Palanka je nakon Kimika iz Struge (2004/05 i 2005/06), Badela 1862 iz Skopja (2014. do 2017 i 2021/22) i Basket Kama iz Makedonske Kamenice (2021/22) četvrti makedonski klub u regionalnoj ligi.

Kriva Palanka je već igrala WABA U17 ligu 2020/21 koja je inače bila prekinuta zbog pandemije Corona-19.

Kriva Palanka je vice-šampion Sjeverne Makedonije te će prvi puta u povijesti kluba igrati u međunarodnom natjecanju. Trener ekipe je 24-godišnji Viktor Petrovski, ujedno i selektor ženske juniorske reprezentacije Sjeverne Makedonije do 18 godina, jedan od pomoćnika u seniorskoj ženskoj reprezentaciji i time jedan najperspektivnijih trenera u regionu.

Kriva Palanka set for international debut

Since the beginning of 2001, 59 clubs from 12 countries have played in the WABA and WABA 2 leagues.

There will be two debutants in the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Kriva Palanka is the fourth Macedonian club in the regional league after Kimiko from Struga (2004/05 and 2005/06), Badel 1862 from Skopje (2014 to 2017 and 2021/22), and Basket Kama from Makedonska Kamenica (2021/22).

Kriva Palanka already played in the WABA U17 league 2020/21, which was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Macedonian vice-champion in women’s competition, Kriva Palanka, will compete on the international stage for the first time in her history this upcoming season.

The club from Macedonia has registered for the WABA 2 League and will be the only representative from this country in the regional competition. The team is led by 24-year-old talented coach Viktor Petrovski, who, in addition to being the head coach of Kriva Palanka, serves as the head coach of the junior national team (U18) and assistant coach of the senior national team of Macedonia.
