Brod na Savi i u WABA 2

Brod na Savi je izuzev dva kratka razdoblja u WABA ligama prisutan već više od desetljeća. Bio je sudionik premijerne sezone WABA U17 lige (2012/13), nakon trogodišnje stanke je tri puta zaredom igrao WABA U15 ligu (2012/13 (2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19) te slijedeće tri godine (2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22) WABA U 17 ligu. Dolaskom trenera Dražena Rimarčuka je odlučio napraviti novi iskorak i u predostojećoj sezoni 2025/26 će prvi puta bitu sudionik WABA 2 lige.

Brod na Savi je u prošlosti bio dosta uspješan: u sezoni 2016/17 je Edita Poljac bila najboljic strijelac WABA U15 lige, a u sezoni 17/18 je Tea Josipović bila najbolji skakač WABA u15 lige.

Očekivanja Broda na Savi u WABA 2 ligi 2025/26 predstavlja trener Dražen Rimarčuk.

Brod na Savi: step by step to the WABA 2

Brod na Savi, except for two periods, has been a part of the WABA leagues for more than a decade. The club participated in the premiere season of the WABA U17 League (2012/13), after a three-year break it played in the WABA U15 League three times in a row (2012/13 (2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19) and the next three years (2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22) in the WABA U 17 League.

With the arrival of coach Drazen Rimarcuk, the club decided to take a new step forward. In the upcoming 2025/26 season, it will participate in the WABA 2 League for the first time.

Brod na Savi has been quite successful in the past: in the 2016-17 season, Edita Poljac was the best scorer of the WABA U15 League, and in the 2017-18 season, Tea Josipović was the best rebounder of the WABA U15 League.
