Beroe uvjerljiv u derbiju

U derbiju 8.kola WABA lige 2020/21 je Beroe nadigrao Montanu 2003 73-54 i sada obje bugarske ekipe imaju pobjedu manje od vodeće Budućnosti Bemaxa. Beroe je samo dva puta bio u rezultatskom zaostatku (0-2, 13-14) te je trijumf trasirao serijom 25-6 za vodstvo 38-20 pri kraju prvog poluvrijemena. U nastavku se je razlika popela i do 33 poena.

U prvoj utakmici 8.kola je jučer Budućnost Bemax pobjedila Orlove 78-57. Cinkarna Celje i RMU Banovići igraju u subotu, 19.XII, dok je srpski derbi Partizan 1953-Vojvodina 021 odgođen zbog obaveza oba kluba u nacionalnom prvenstvu.

Huge second quarter enables Beroe to pull away from Montana 2003

Beroe outscored Montana 2003 by 18-4 in the second quarter and cruised to a 73-54 win in the Bulgarian derby of the WABA League Round 8.

Beroe trailed just twice before they seized control in the second quarter to turn a 13-14 defcit into a 28-20 lead. Beroe extended their advantage to 38-20 before the halftime brek and had their largest lead od the night at 67-34 early in the fourth quarter.

Andjela Delic scored game-high 17 points in her debut, Violina Kocheva, Jaklin Zlatanova, Radostina Hristova and Sarah Boothe all added 11 points for Beroe.

Montana 2003 made just one one of its 13 3-point attempts and their bench players combined for just five points. Dimana Georgieva finished with 13 points, Isabela Lyra scored 12 and Snezana Aleksic 10.
