A historic defensive performance! With a 30–51 loss, RMU Banovici have etched their name into the league’s history—but for the wrong reason. They recorded the fewest points in a single game in WABA League history. Kriva Palanka previously held the record with 32 points—also in a game against Maribor on November 30, 2025.

The game began with an extremely low-scoring first quarter that ended 7-2 to the hosts. RMU Banovići briefly found themselves level at 2-2 early on, but that proved to be the only tie of the game, as Maribor dictated the tempo from then on.

By the 18th minute, Maribor had already built a comfortable 23-9 lead. While the team from BiH managed to mount a brief second-half response, cutting the deficit to a single-digit margin just once at 27-36, they never threatened to turn the game around. Maribor quickly regained control, shut down the paint, and forced turnovers to seal the historic win.

A striking statistical anomaly from the match report highlights Banovici’s offensive stagnation: only their starting five scored every point for RMU Banovici. The visitors’ bench contributed zero points over 40 minutes, leaving stars Skylar Treadwell (13 points) and Mikyla Tolivert (7 points) with no offensive relief.

On the other side, Maribor relied on a balanced team performance. Sara Vujacic led the winning side with 12 points, followed closely by Anais Gobec with 10. Veronika Ferjancic anchored the glass with a game-high 12 rebounds and 8 points, ensuring Maribor controlled the possession game from start to finish.

Sea Stars-Primorje 53-66 (1718, 1520, 614, 13-14)   FULL STATS   FULL GAME VIDEO

The first-ever all-Montenegrin derby took center stage, with visiting Primorje from Herceg Novi securing a hard-fought 66-53 win over Sea Stars.

The game saw heavy fluctuations and long scoring runs, but the hosts, Sea Stars, ultimately paid the price for their inconsistency. The Tivat-based squad opened the contest strong, taking an early 4-0 lead. However, Primorje quickly responded with a fierce run to flip the script, surging ahead to a 14-6 lead. Sea Stars fought back into the driver’s seat, taking a narrow 19-18 lead, but the momentum shifted instantly when Primorje’s Abigael Kongolo drilled back-to-back three-pointers, sparking a crucial push that put the visitors up 34-23.

Refusing to back down, Sea Stars mounted another spirited comeback attempt, closing the gap to just one point at 34-35. But just as they drew close, their execution faltered yet again. Primorje capitalized on the hosts’ sudden dip in form, then ran away with the game, extending their lead to 47-36 by the middle of the third quarter. From there, Primorje managed the clock comfortably and protected their double-digit cushion until the final buzzer.

Primorje relied on exceptional perimeter efficiency, shooting 56% from beyond the arc (5-9), and showcased clinical execution at the free-throw line, hitting 27-of-33 (82%). Abigael Kongolo spearheaded the historic victory with a team-high 15 points and 9 rebounds, supported by Alana Swift (14 points) and Anja Adzic (12 points).

For Sea Stars, Sofija Vuckovic led with 17 points, while Vanja Kaludjerovic added 13 points in a full 40-minute effort. Delaney Yarborough anchored the paint with 11 rebounds but struggled to find her offensive rhythm against Primorje’s interior defense.
