MVP oktobra: Jovana Marković

Drugi puta u povijesti kluba naslov najkorisnije igračice (MVP) mjeseca u BTravel WABA ligi odlazi u Play Off Ultru, nakon što je Jovana Marković (187 cm, 1997) najbolja u oktobru 2017.

Iako je u protekle četiri sezone zaigrala na ukupno 45 utakmica BTravel lige, 20-godišnji krilni centar je u otvaranju sezone 2017-18 postavio čak četiri osobna rekorda. V prvoj utakmici u oktobru je sa 11 skokova izjednačila učinak karijere u BTravel WABA ligi. U narednoj utakmici, je njezina valorizacija 34 bila najbolja u sezoni, a 26 poena izjednačen drugo najbolje dostignuće. U trećoj utakmici je sa 5 osvojenih lopti izjednačila treće najbolji rezultat u sezoni, a njezinih 9 obrambenih skokova u zadnjoj utakmici u oktobru predstavlja izjednačen osmi učinak u prve četiri utakmice sezone 2017-18.

U oktobru je Jovana Marković u BTravel WABA ligi prva po valorizaciji (23.0), šesti skakač (9.5), osmi strijelac (15.5) i deveta po osvojenim loptama (2.5).

Prva igračica Play Offa sa naslov MVP mjeseca BTravel WABA lige je bila Monet Johnson, koji je podijelila naslov u oktobra 2013.

 

MVP for October: Jovana Markovic

For the second time in club history, the BTravel WABA award for the best player each month will go to Play Off Ultra as Jovana Markovic (187 cm, 1997) been chosen for October 2017.

Although she had played 45 BTravel WABA games in four seasons before October, the 20-year-old power forward packed no fewer than four personal career highs into an opening month of the 2017-18 season. In October’s first game, Markovic tied her career-high with 11 rebounds in the game. In another, her 34 index rating was this season’s second-best and her 26 points tied for second-best. In a third, her 5 steals matched the third-most and in the last October’s game her 9 defensive rebounds tied the eight-most in the season’s first four games.

By the time October was over, Jovana Markovic ranked first among all BTravel WABA players during the regular season in average index rating (23.0 per game), sixth in rebounds (9.5 rpg), eighth in scoring (15.5 ppg.) and ninth in steals (2.5 spg)

The first Play Off’s WABA League’s MVP of the month was Monet Johnson, who was  co-MVP for October 2013.
